Starlight is a jazz flavoured CD to compliment her two previous CDs, Into The Blues released in 2007 and by its title was a blues influenced release and This Charming Life released in 2010 which was firmly rooted in the rock/pop genre. Starlight is a collection of ten new compositions that will see Joan mix her love of jazz with her prowess as a singer, guitarist and songwriter, producing an album that is both commercial yet also contemporary.

Three times Grammy nominated British singer songwriter Joan Armatrading is the first female UK artist to have debuted at number one in the Billboard Blues charts. She is also the first female UK artist to be nominated for a Grammy in the blues category.

Joan is one of the UK’s leading female singer songwriters who has stood the test of time with highly acclaimed songs such as Love And Affection, Willow, Drop The Pilot, Lovers Speak,  Into The Blues, This Charming Life and now she releases her finest work to date. Joan is back with an album that will appeal to fans old and new.

A consummate performer, Joan Armatrading is indeed the whole package, an excellent song writer, a powerful vocalist and as a guitarist, she is certainly one of the best players in the world. Neil Taylor’s star is only just beginning to shine in its own right, with its roots firmly planted in a career spanning three decades. As one of the UK’s premier session guitarists, Neil has worked with an enviable array of artists, ranging from the likes of Robbie Williams, Tears For Fears, Rod Stewart, Natalie Imbruglia, Peter Gabriel and Tina Turner, to name a few.

Right from the start Neil Taylor joint Tears For Fears and his incredible guitar work influence a lot in the Band success in the 80ties and create world classics like “Mad World” ,”Everybody Like To Rule The World” or “Shout” – one of the smash hits which Neil had still in his live set.

For the past 10 years up to now, Neil has been a lynchpin in the Robbie Williams band, touring the world with him several times over.

2010 Neil released his first solo album “No Self Control”, a powerful rock album in combination with smooth rock ballads, when you listen carefully you will find a kind of Robbie flavour inside.  Neil is one of the only band members in Robbie Band who created an own fan base in the Band and is encouraged by Robbie to create solo work.

“No Self Control” presents his outstanding guitar work as well as his great talent as a songwriter.

Following on from his previous release NO SELF CONTROL, 2012 will see the release of CHASING BUTTERFLIES, an album showcasing Neil Taylor’s solo acoustic work. The new album is an outstanding acoustic rock album yet still showing a powerful rock groove which is reflected in the whole recording.

Stand out tracks include the soft rock ballad Shadows Fall, reminiscent of Bryan Adams, No God which Robbie would be proud of and the superb Dream Machine.

CHASING BUTTERFLIES might be an acoustic album but the powerful recordings will also appeal to rock fans along with many other followers of modern contemporary music.

LEDFOOT a.k.a. Tim Scott McConnell was born in a trailer-park in Florida 1958. At the age of 15 he started to play biker bars around Florida and moved to New York when he was 17. He played all the famed underground clubs in NY such as legendary CBGB’s, Max’s Kansas City and the Mud club.

In 1979 he joined the band The Rockats and signed a deal with Island Records and toured around the USA for the next five years.

In 1989 he started The Havalinas with Smutty Smiff (Rockats, 13kats) and Chalo Quitana (Cruzados, Bob Dylan, Social Distortion). The band signed to Elektra after a bidding war between the major companies and released THE HAVALINAS in 1990. They toured around USA extensively and did support gigs for Bob Dylan, Chris Isaak and Tina Turner. The Havalinas toured all over the world including three tours of Europe this helping to raise Tim’s profile this side of the Atlantic. In 1993 Tim Scott moved to Norway and the bands only release on Electra became their first and only album.

In Norway Tim signed with Warner Music who released the album DECEIVERS AND BELIEVERS in 1994. This album gave Tim heavy radio play in Norway and across Europe. In 1996 he recorded an album on Waterfall Records, the same year as Bruce Springsteen recorded Tim’s song High Hopes on the BLOODBROTHERS EP and DVD.

Ledfoot is the culmination of Tim’s 35 years of history and experience as an artist.

GOTHIC BLUES VOLUME ONE was recorded in the hours between nine and midnight one day in April 2011 giving the recordings a very heartfelt live sound.

Proud to call herself the “Daughter of a Bluesman,” multi-instrumentalist Cassie Taylor has appeared on eight critically-acclaimed albums by her father Otis Taylor and accompanied him on tours all over the world. She was also a featured vocalist on Gary Moore’s 2008 release Bad For You Baby.

Cassie sets out to break the rules the Blues genre and create a sound based in the roots of American Music. Using Blues music as a catalyst, Cassie brings in sounds that influenced her in her younger years. Rock, Country and Jazz influences can be heard in her music and her music ranges from heart-wrenching ballads to hard-driving blues.
