PhotoJaggerfarb_338x480Follow up to the well received Sequel recording of five years ago, from Chris Jagger’s rockin’ roots combo.
An album that combines an eclectic mix of hootenanny, blues and swampy Cajun which will be appreciated by fans of Little Feat, JJ Cale, Dire Straits and the country influenced songs from the Let It Bleed / Sticky Fingers Stones period.
Line Up:: Ed Deane – electric guitar and vocals – A gifted slide, rhythm and solo player, Ed has played with Graham Parker, The Blues Band, Shane McGowan, Nick Lowe, Dana Gillespie and B.B.King.
Charlie Hart – fiddle, accordian and piano – Charlie has played with Ronnie Lane, Eric Clapton, Mose Allison, Dana Gillespie and Rocket 88.
Chris Jagger (brother of Rolling Stone ikone MICK JAGGER) – acoustic guitar, vocals and washboard – Chris’s career has spanned clothes design, theatre, journalism and music which is his first love.He has written lyrics for Vannesa Paradis, helped his brother on a track for Dirty Work and the Steel Wheels album, as well as releasing solo records in the 70’s and more recently the Atcha album on Sequel.
Paul Emile – bass guitar and vocals – Currently recording his own album, has also played with Herbie Flowers and Gasper Lawal.
Malcolm Mortimore – percussion – Has played with Ian Dury, Gentle Giant, Todd Rundgren, Paul Butterfield and Van Morrison.
Other featured musicians include Danny Thompson (bass), Gasper Lawal (percussion), Ben Waters (piano) and Lynda Hayes (backing vocals).
The album was recorded at Clarion Studios in Brighton and Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey remixed four tracks.
